About ColdCase Party

ColdCase Party brings noir-style cooperative murder mysteries to your browser. We built it because the great party-mystery experiences (printed kits, escape rooms, board games) all required setup, reading scripts aloud, or being in the same room. We wanted something you could spin up with friends in 30 seconds, on any device, anywhere.

Original cases, written for this format

Every case in ColdCase Party is original fiction written specifically for cooperative real-time investigation. No kit reuse, no licensed IP. Each case has unique evidence, a unique suspect cast, and a real solution you can derive from the facts.

How we think about design

Real detective work is about cross-referencing — matching alibis to timestamps, finding contradictions in witness statements, recognising motive patterns. We design cases to reward that kind of thinking, not trivia recall or guesswork.
