Antonio 'Big Tony' Morello ran Little Italy's most powerful bootlegging operation out of the back room at Morello's Restaurant — until someone put two bullets in the back of his head, execution-style, while he sat at the poker table. His bodyguard was found drugged in the alley. Four of his most trusted men were there that night, and every one of them claims they stepped out briefly when the shooting happened. The FBI has been running a secret investigation for two years with an informant inside Morello's crew — code name 'CANARY'. Morello's own notes show he had figured out who it was. He called the poker game specifically to deal with the problem himself. Someone at that table realized what was coming and moved first. In the underworld, the difference between a betrayer and a survivor is who shoots first.
