These are the terms and conditions for using ColdCase Party — the multiplayer browser-based murder mystery game. By playing, you agree to them.

Using the service

ColdCase Party is an entertainment product. You must be 13 or older to create an account, and you agree to use the game for lawful purposes only. Don't cheat, scrape our content, disrupt other players' rooms, or harass fellow detectives — we may suspend accounts that spoil the game for everyone else.

Content

All cases, characters, evidence, and scenarios are original works of fiction. Any resemblance to real events or persons is coincidental. Case content, artwork, and game mechanics are our intellectual property; you may not republish or resell them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Premium cases are one-time purchases tied to the buying account and are not transferable. Prices are always shown before checkout, and payments are processed by Stripe. Detective Club subscriptions renew automatically until canceled — you can cancel anytime from your account and keep access through the end of the paid period. All purchases are covered by our refund policy, including a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Changes to the service

We ship new cases and features regularly and may update, improve, or retire parts of the game over time. If a change materially affects something you paid for, we will make it right — that's what the refund policy is for.

Liability

ColdCase Party is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
